This is not a camera-trick!
My local Wendy's has shrunk the Jr. Hamburger/Cheeseburger.
It's just over 2.5 inches across!
It's so small now that I think we should start calling it a "slammer" -- a tiny hamburger-like appetizer commonly served at pubs.
Until now, the Jr. Cheeseburger Deluxe has been my favorite fast food burger and a great value at $1 dollar. It's the only reason that I've continued to go to Wendy's since they dropped the good salads and breadsticks from the menu.
I was under the impression that Wendy's had strict standards for burger and patty sizes. Apparently, those standards have been revised since Dave Thomas' death. Like the closing of the original Wendy's restaurant last year, this seems to be the work of soulless corporate drones with an eye only for quick profits.
Well guess what, drones... you just lost my business.
