MacHack Conference This Weekend
The annual MacHack Conference, "The Annual Conference for Leading Edge Developers," takes place this weekend from June 20 through June 22nd. It's a combination of eclectic presentations and a 3-day endurance trial centered around creating original and useless code.
Traditionally, MacHack has produced some astounding software, including a hack that converted a monitor's output to interactive ASCII-art, the original Oscar the Grouch singing trash can, and the NetBunny -- an Energizer Bunny that could walk across every screen on a Mac network.
It's always worth checking out the MacHack web site a couple of weeks after the Conference in order to see what amazing hacks have come out. The collection of hacks is only available when you order their CD ROM, but you can feel good that your money is an investment in continuing the MacHack tradition.
More information may be found at the MacHack FAQ page.
